Give Poverty The Boots

How it works

With the support of local schools, we have lists of children and teenagers, aged 5-16, who are regularly attending school and participating in our educational projects. With these lists, our community coaches distribute boots to players who are also regularly attending the training sessions. The coaches then report back to the schools on attendance and performance of each player.

Our future athletes then wait for their chance to receive soccer boots from Australian children. We make every effort to ship the best quality boots, uniforms and shoes at a minimum cost (we continue to seek partner companies who will assist with shipping fees, or ideally, ship the boots free of charge). This is why it is so important to receive donations - they help reduce the cost of shipping and also allows us to improve on other parts of the project - Family Support and Creating Better Schools.

In Australia

This is an opportunity for local Australian clubs, schools or even families to adopt a community in Brazil, or a particular student. We will provide all the logistics to make it happen, and make the necessary connections between both countries. The more families and clubs in Australia we can involve in this project, the further we can reach out to kids and give them a chance to study and practice sport.
